Drunken fun

We had some fun at my boss’ party this evening. Granted, I think we could have had a fun time other ways at the party - but I guess my wife’s drunken antics sufficed this evening. I just put her in bed and ate some taco bell - I never got a chance to eat at the party. I am watching a few TV shows that I missed this week (Law & Order, atm).
I think I may have discovered the source of my issue. Lactose Intolerance may be that source :(. For someone with a nickname that means cheese (Queso), this is a tough idea to deal with. I have avoided most cheese the last two days and my issues are mostly gone. I am going to attempt a week with little or no dairy products and monitor my reaction. I guess finding the reason is better than guessing, but it is still a bit disheartening.
I am stuck trying to figure out a way to write an ending to my latest short story. After watching Saw, I am certainly inspired to finish it. Excellent movie, a must see in my opinion.

Post-pod shock

I love my iPod. It rocks, there is nothing better than being able to walk around all day and listen to music. I have jammed to around 220 songs the last two days - that is still a bit mind-blowing to me. My current music collection only fills about 50%, so I will have to beef that up. I am hoping to work on converting my CDs over while I am on my week break, which starts on Thursday. Mmm, iPod.
I feel like such a slacker lately, not posting much or writing much. I guess I just don’t feel like I have another interesting or fun to post about. Boo-hoo, poor me, right? Bleah. Anyone have suggestions for revelations or inspirations?
SOGA is making its way back… the boulder has started rolling down the hill - too late to stop it now 
I think the new crew is much stronger, so I am not worried as much this time. As much.

Oh yeah! I finally purchased an iPod; well, my lovely wife did for me. I love it so far, all 20 minutes I have been able to use it today. Unfortunately my nice DFS share drive setup isn’t very handy for syncing the iPod, I had to let it run overnight to sync my entire collection. I will have to devise a new plan for syncing, preferably something that involves a hard drive local to the gaming machine.
We had a fun-filled shopping weekend this past week - it was pretty crazy. Barnes & Noble, several Halloween shops, CompUSA, & Biggs just to name a few We picked up some costumes finally, but that crap is expensive! I also picked up the Stephen King book, On Writing, which I hope will provide some guidance in writing my current story. Oh and did I mention we picked up an iPod :P?
I tried out a new recipe last night, good stuff. Fresh bay scallops in a white wine and butter sauce, I added my own twist by tossing in some shrimp on top. I felt inclined to drink the wine so it wouldn’t all go to waste (I broke the cork) and I ended up a bit tipsy last night! Drunkness are funner!
