A great RRDTool frontend. I am going to install this for tracking SOGA.

I think I am finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel with my workload. I think by the middle of February I might actually be back to a semi-normal schedule and routine (then again maybe not, as I consider all my other projects coming up). I will also be starting back to school in February - the jury is still out on the good/bad of going back.

Kelley and I had a great weekend together, at least I think so :). We bummed on Saturday, just hanging around the house watching TV. We also played a little monopoly (yes, the board game) on Saturday evening - we had fun. We ended up having brunch with my Dad on Sunday, after we fell in love with a house we looked at… Hopefully we can sell ours soon.

My workload is like a leaking ship, if you have a bucket handy - feel free to pitch in and start bailing water! I put in 14 hours yesterday to work on the “Emergency Emergency”, so now today I can get back to working on my regularly scheduled emergency that was driving my previous overtime hours.

Put your backs into it, you land-lubers!

A cool site with tons of dolby demo downloads to show off on the HTPC.

Got meat?

So, my wife is pregnant. Yes, that is still soaking in for us. It is ok, digest it, we are. All joking aside we are very excited about it.

Chew slowly…

w00t! We discussed an interesting topic at work this morning - wet-wear… For those who don’t know the meaning, it is the marriage of biological and electronic elements. The idea is not something new, such movies as Johnny Mnemonic and Final Cut cover such topics. The question we posed was this: If you could get a hard drive, optical chip, or a wireless device implanted/interfaced into you, would you?

Germy said he would be the second in line… While Pete said; no way, no how, no sir! His argument was why mess with something that isn’t broken? I tend to agree with Jeremy, if you have the shot at a photographic memory (like I tend to have) why wouldn’t you LEAP at that chance? I know it is a skill I rely on each day, because people like to call you and assume that you can walk them through anything on their computer, so it is invaluable to visualize the screens in question in my mind and walk them through what comes next. We haven’t even mentioned the possible benefits to disabled people, such as control over your limbs even though you are paralyzed. Besides, who DOESN’T want a USB port in their arm?!?

Your thoughts?
