I tell you! Owning a house comes with such an endless onslaught of things to do. I cut the lawn this weekend and that was quite an endeavor! I am sure it looked hilarious, me trying to wrestle with the lawn-mower on that hill. In the end, it was probably good to get my pasty white tub-o-lard out there for a few hours to sweat and strain in the hot sun ;). We also went shopping this weekend and spent a ton of money on stuff for the house! I think we both love the house and we wouldn’t trade it for the world - shopping and yard work aside (I think that stuff actually makes it that much more fun in the end).
I may be flying down to visit Chris for a marathon coding weekend around the June 3rd; my wife’s sister is flying in that weekend for our son’s baby shower. Sometimes I get so frustrated when I find an article like today talking about what a great product Trumba is, but after running through it for two day, I was disappointed with it. There is just so much that could be better with it, but I guess that is what we hope to do with the flux project. It just sucks knowing that so many people would probably find our project so useful. Things like a style sheet to print out your to-do list or calendar entries on a 3×5 card for a hipster pda… I just wish we could find funding to do this full time and get things up to speed a LOT faster than we can working on it in our spare time. I guess I just hope people will trust me when I say that our product will be very GTD friendly and it is something that WE want to use (note: We are not affiliated with David Allen, nor do we have any input from him on this project - this is nothing official GTD).
Anyway, I am going back to watching TV!
